Call For Postgraduate Papers

The ICICT 2024 Postgraduate Symposium will provide an opportunity for postgraduate (Masters’ and Doctoral) students to explore and develop their research interests under the guidance of distinguished researchers from both academia and industry. We invite students to submit their work-in-progress research, to enable them to share their work with their peers as well as with senior researchers. The Postgraduate Symposium is particularly suited for candidates who have made some research progress. Ideally, candidates should have already defined their topic and have completed some research objectives, but still have significant research remaining before completing their thesis and/or dissertation.

The objectives of the Postgraduate Symposium are:

  • To provide a forum where postgraduate students present and discuss their research with experienced researchers.
  • To provide students with an opportunity to establish a supportive community, including other postgraduate students at a similar stage of their postgraduate research
  • To positively contribute to the conference goals through their interaction with other researchers and conference events.

Postgraduate student participants will be expected to participate in this year’s poster showcase during the conference event.

  • Postgraduate Short papers have at most four (4) pages and report on mature work, or efforts that have reached an important milestone. They will get presentation slots of 10 minutes.
  • Postgraduate Posters highlight efforts that might be in an early stage, but are important for the community to be made aware of; they can also present theories or systems that can be described concisely in the limited space. Posters should be in A0 format (portrait). The PDF file should be provided two weeks before the conference. A poster session will be organised to enable authors to discuss their work with ICICT 2024 delegates.

Abstracts for full papers and posters must be submitted via the ICICT 2024 Microsoft Conference Management Toolkit (CMT) site:[HERE].
